    some (improbable) stories ive heard..
1- rocky marciano took whatever joe louis did and doubled it
2- tommy hearns could do pushups for an hour straight
3- kostya tszyu would work up to 100 rounds on the pads
4- not sure who this was but someone had a boat drop them 3 miles off shore and they had to swim back..
5- ricky hatton jumps over a bar a metre off the ground for an hour
6- marvin hagler would litterally train, eat, train then sleep evryday for weeks

    any other good stories?

Marvin Hagler was known for his insane conditioning. He would run backwards on sand for 10 miles was one thing I remember

Marvin Haggler by far, nobody will ever do what he did, he cut himself off from the outside world and trained in his dungeon for week and weeks before the fight, Nobody was as dedicated as Haggler, specially for the hearns fight where his family said they didn't see him for a month and they live with him!

    Impossible to say.

Lots of fighters (Marciano, Hagler, Mayweather, Hopkins, etc...) are known for intense training habits.

lol i thought this was a thread about trainers

toughest trainer today in terms of conditioning it's got to be that guy javier capetillo... his fighters (margarito being the prime example) don't gas period

Hagler from what I've read. But Ricky Hatton and Pavlik are pretty hardcore....I think Hopkins and Mayweather never had to train ridiculously hard because they always kept themselves in shape
