Takam is a solid 15 -20 HW, as someone said he's never an easy nights work for anyone.

Takam was winning against Chisora up until he he got KOed.Takam gave parker a decent fight, I scored it 8- 4 Parker. Took a couple of rounds of Povetkin too. Lasted longer than most against AJ.

To answer your question I would say Gashi is Takam's best win the last 4 year whom Takam delt with in a much more impressive fashion than Schwarz (who Gashi was beating up untill the DQ) and Chisora.

Takam is a tough fighter and is deserving of respect for always turning up and putting in good work, he is a tough night out for 5-10 in the heavyweight division I reckon.

240lbs of pure muscle. No fat on him!! Only lacks power really. His best win was handling Tony t with complete ease. He gave povetkin a good fight.

Takam obviously doesn't have the best resume in terms of who he's beaten he definitely one of those gate keeper bordering on fringe contender level fighters. Not a pure gate keeper who gets out classed when he steps up but can give the top guys some problems before folding.

But I personally beginning to think it's hard to rate fighters that highly if they are simply known for losing well. It usually means they are lacking in some area to put them over the top against the very top guys. I've probably overrated guys like Takam and Chisora in the past because of how well they do when losing.

I see guys like Ruiz Jr, Jennings and Ortiz in the same light, sure they looked good in losing efforts but again that just means they are good enough to trouble to top guys but are lacking in certain areas to ever really break through and win at the top level. Until they can actually win at the top level they'll always be lacking in some way and have a question mark over their ability.

Exactly as I see it, Serge. He isn't a top tier Heavyweight but he's a bit of a pain in the ass for most fighters.

If anyone hasn't seen it, his fight with Povetkin was really good.

He would not give all the top guys a tough fight, Fury would do what he did to Chisora and jab his eyes shut till he quit. Wilder would KO him in 2 rounds.
