    Tewa Kiram 38-0 (28KOs)

He doesn't seem very fast, but he does have a good jab and display some decent skills. His chin is suspect since the got dropped before by the left hook. There aren't many fights available, but I've learn not to underestimate Thai fighters after what happened to Gonzalez.

Matthysse is also on the decline, which makes this fight more interesting. I think it could be a very tough fight for Matthysse if Kiram uses his range and frustrate Matthysse on the outside.

I agree, and the closer the fight gets the more I'm feeling the upset, Kiram looks pretty huge compared to Matthysse, and his jab is stiff enough to **** Lucas' eye up again potentially, or straight up KO him, his chin has been showing signs of cracking for quite some time, Saturday may very well be when it completely shatters.

I think ultimately he will provide a solid test for Lucas and it will be a good scrap, but Matthysse will overcome him. Lucas has been in many wars. Still, he remains formidable. The popped eye against Postol was something of a freak thing (right punch at the right time lands on the right spot). He has shown since then that he will fight fearlessly regardless of the trauma that injury caused him.

Notice how Matthysse has the ability to turn up the intensity on his opponents when they are good/tough enough to force him into a higher gear. He finishes most guys before he has to go to that level, but he's capable of it if need be. Molina brought the tiger out of him, as did Provodnikov to an extent. Here's hoping that Kiram, with his size and strength, can force Lucas to reach the brutal crescendo he is capable of reaching. It will be thrilling if he can do that, and it will be an excellent fight if he can do more.

I'm feeling a bit nervous about this one too. I don't know much about Kiram at all, but from the few clips I've seen of him in action he looks crazy huge for the weight and Lucas is obviously a career LWW, war-weary and shot to smithereens, blind in one eye, and his spirit has been broken by boxing politics and corruption. Kiram more looks like a good sized LMW to me than a 147 pounder.

Matthysse knocked Peterson out in the 3rd round easily, much easier than Spence did. Not sure how he will do since I have not seen him fight since he changed trainers, but if lands a good punch, it will be over!!! I wish him lots of luck as he is an exciting fighter with power to spare...............He should win this fight, but there are many questions.................
