No, its like I'm saying that Pac is a better basketball player than Floyd, but that doesn't mean that Pac should spot Floyd 3 points. Even though he spotted Cotto 3 points and still beat him easily.

Cause if Floyd is given those 3 points then even though I think Pac will still win the game, if Floyd pulls off the upset that doesn't make him a better basketball player. Just good enough to win with a 3 point advantage.

What I'd like to know is who is the better basketball player, not if Pac can or can't beat Floyd if Pac has 3 point handicap.

Just replace the word basketball player with boxer, and 3 points with 8 to 10 pounds, and you have exactly the Pac-Floyd situation.

Nard has a very good resume for this decade as well....but it's definilty not as impressive as PAC's resume.....EM, MAB, JMM, DLH, Cotto, Hatton....and a bunch of other very good fighters. And the fact that PAC has moved up from 126 to 147 within 8 yrs. Nard has Tito, Pav, DLH, Holmes, ,Tarver, wright, Joppy, Eastman....really good but not as good as PACs.

Manny is the fighter of the decade. Anyone who disputes it don't know anything about Boxing. Second place is a little more subjective, but Hopkins has the superior resume to Floyd so he gets the nod in my judgment.

People have a short term memory. Don't forget that Pacquiao fought Barrera and Morales without a catchweight an without a tuneup to get accustomed to the weight. And last I checked Floyd signed on for a catchweight fight in his last bout, and ended up weighing in like 4 pounds more than Marquez.

That would be respectable if the award was given out by a pool of fighters of today and yesterday. Writers/critics count very little with me when awards ike that are given out. Fighters don't have agendas...

I don't know, but Duran didn't care about how much Leonard would Pac on fight night when it came to fighting Leonard...

Wlad Klitschko should be up there 22-2 (18 KO). 8-2 vs world champions. 2X heavyweight champ. Won the only unification bout at the weight of the decade. Avenged one loss. Unbeaten in the last 6 years. Took away 5 0's.
Roy Jones should atleast be up there somewhere. With the kind of reign he had at 175 and the move up to Heavyweight. His ability to keep bouncing back from losses has been amazing. Just when we right him off he keeps getting back up there. How about Calderon 33-0-1 this decade wins over Mayol, Cazares, Dieppa. Undefeated two weight champ since 2003. One of the most consistently on top fighters. Probably one of the best factors to have. Moseley's 13-5 record is not a very good but he began the decade with the biggest possible win a prime Oscar. He came up 2 weights and beat him. He defended the belt three times all by stoppage. Then ran into Forrest and though down and hurt made it to the 12th and fought to a close rematch loss. He bounced back to win a 154 pound title off Oscar in a rematch. But then lost back to back to wright though fight to a close decision the 2nd time around. After two tune ups he stop Vargas twice and beat Collazo over 12. After a razor thin loss to Cotto he KO'd Mayorga and upset KO'd Margo Cotto's conqueror. 7-5 against belt holders. It is not the best record but given the amount of time the quality of opposition and the way he won mostly by big KO it is an amazing decade for Moseley. He like Jones is another guy who just keeps coming back. Other fighters I give alot of credit to maybe not top 5 but maybe top 10 are Chris John, Israel Vazquez, Zsolt Erdei, Tomaz Adamek, David Haye, and Pongsalek Wonjomkam. Now while doing this do we rate on consistency over all ten years where guys like Floy who are undefeated or guys like Pacquiao or are damn close get it for being most consistant. Or do you go by like a very long title reign like B-hop, or Calzaghe. Do you go by magnitude of wins like Moseley. Do you go by dominant performances like Klitschko. Do you go by styles. So many good fighters woth so many accomplishments making a top 10 is tough
