Overated your having a laugh mate,nobody in Britain could touch him and he defended the WBO many times.everyone rates Michael Brodie and Scott beat him in 4.In fact the BBBC couldn't get Scott an opponent so he could win the Lonsdale belt outright.imo the board should have given him a belt in this occasion.people know scott was immensly strong at feather weight but he never ever got the credit for the skill he had.

 

To be fair, it seems pretty obvious that the two fights with In-Jin Chi, prior to the Harrison bout, had a pretty detremental effect on Brodie's career longevity. He wasn't the same fighter when he stepped in the ring with Harrison, and (to Scott's credit) he as in even worse shape when he stepped out after.

Not trying to take anything away from Harrison, because I think him and a prime Brodie would have been one hell of a scrap.

Exactly, he defended the WBO several times.

Where were the fights with Pacquiao, Morales, Marquez etc etc - Watt and Buchanan fought Duran, Laguna, Ortiz, Arguello etc between them..... Harrison didn't mix in that class.

He was undoubtedly a very good fighter, but let's not kid ourselves - a fighter that loses to Medina doesn't mix well with the names I've mentioned.

you'd need to ask his father why these fights were never made,one thing for sure scott wouldn't have ran away from any of them.scott had food poisioning the night of the medina 1st fight,he more than made up for it in the return

 

I'd never suggest Harrison was afraid of anybody, he obviously wasn't.

He's a case of unfulfilled potential I'm afraid.

I actually liked the title-winning one against Julio Pablo Chacon. The Argentinian was a handy wee operator, but Harrison just marched him down.

A fight between Scott and Injin Chi would have been some spectacle. Wish that one could have been made.

Yes overrated. He was big and strong but not hugely skilled, that was shown up a few times.

Of course he's better than Brodie, Brodie was not a world class fighter. Harrison would have got hammered off the great Mexican fighters.
