AJ (The body building bum AKA the wannabe landlord) or Fury (A man who pays no rent and would happily live in a caravan despite bieng 6'9")

AJ did well to promote his dead golden goose self with Jake Paul on Netflix

Fury has done to promote himself on Netflix with his family TV show which is very popular in the UK

Will AJ agree to walk out 2nd? Seems like his ego was on full show last night. AJ does have Wilder as a option. Fury has Usyk, which he would lose agian leaving AJ with a Wilder scalp and nowhere to go. The money option is Fury AJ...but AJ has to let his pride go for it to happen.

Maybe they can walk out at the same time? This is not a place for tradition or decorum! This is a place for WAR!

Right now, both are bums; don’t kid yourself. Both should have retired after their first fights with Usyk (real A-side). The only difference is that Joshua did everything he could with his skills (I thought he was a great boxer; don't try to aruge, @miniq), while Fury is a massive waste of talent.

Is AJ still the bigger box office draw? Genuine question. In the 2010s he was, no question at all, but I’m not sure he has been for many years now

The 2 Fury-Usyk fights had bigger purses (by far) than the 2 AJ-Usyk fights. And Fury just headlined a 12-rounder in a 60,000 stadium against Makh, a totally unknown B-side to casuals, while AJ would have fought Cassius Chaney in an 8-rounder on a Saudi undercard (but ultimately took the Jake Paul fight as the B-side to Paul).

There’s also the fact it would be broadcast on Netflix, and Fury has a better working relationship with Netflix with his Netflix series.

Doesn’t matter to me who’s the A-side, but I’d be genuinely quite surprised if it were Joshua-Fury rather than Fury-Joshua.

I have to agree. Fury is clearly the more talented, but AJ did more with what he had.

    Agreed.

Even if AJ was ahead slightly in box office (and you make a fair point maybe he isnt anymore) it isnt by enough to compensate for the disparity in current standings.

Agree its almost certainly Fury vs AJ.

A gypsy having a landlord is paradoxical.

I know AJ isn't the sharpest tool in the shed but I'd have thought maybe he'd have added some sharper smack talk into his arsenal.

Why not just copy Usyk and do a silent staredown? Why was he even there? lol.

Fury hit the nail on the head back in the day 2016:

I rewatch that interview every now and then. Low-key hilarious. Fury at his best. The camera pan to the bag of washing as he mentions it feels very 'Peep Show early years'. Brilliant.

Used to be AJ, but this stage it's Fury. Turki likes him and Fury can sell a fight.

    Up to a point.

I'm unconvinced that Fury could necessarily have done any more with his talents... I think the same blase and unorthodox mentality that has arguably been a weakness has arguably been one of the factors in making him able to perform as he has... Without that, he could've been more and yet less?
