    Ali
    Louis
    Marciano
    Foreman
    Holmes

Every great on Lewis' record was against fighters well past there prime, and even the good fighters he beat like Mercer and Vitali were under controversy.

I disagree with most people on this forum.

I think Muhammad Ali is the greatest heavyweight and by a ridicliously large margin. I take the points that Louis was more consistant into consideration, but I feel level of opposition is the only legitimate way to rank a fighter's ability. Ali has the best resume in Heavyweight history by a margin, and he stood out as a highly skilled fighter. He lacked fundementals, but he beat everyone anyway.

Forget Ali outside the ring, forget his charm, wit, courage and all of that outside of the ring, and you still have yourself the greatest heavyweight of all time.

I think you may have to much time on your hands man if you can draw up a list of the best 275 heavyweights.

    Look again.

I said I disagree with most people on this forum because I don't even think it's close.

Ali and Louis are as far apart in terms of greatness as is Money May and Leonard. Mayweather has more fights and is undefeated, but Leonard has fought much better opposition. It isn't even close.

    That's what I meant.
