I used to live in London and hung around with this fella that was born and bred in a Irish area of NW London, played Gaelic football etc etc etc - if you said he wasnt Irish he'd have put yer teeth in. Fair enough. Buit his brother, two years young that him was a BNP member and went on anti Irish marches - going firgure.

Nationality aint as straight forward as Nazi's would want you to believe.

Completely ******ed thread. Everything is one big blurry mess and no one can tell anyone else what nationality they feel like they are. The individual decides their sense of belonging, and no amount of arguing by anyone can change that. The only restrictions are artifical borders imposed by governments representing a group of people. It's all a load of bollocks. Whichever nationality you actually believe yourself to be (and not just for practical reasons) is what your nationality is. Almost everyone will have one place they identify most with, and if forced to tell the truth that's where most people would call home.

 

I suppose you all know how Freddy Eastwood is eligible to play for Wales :nut

I've no idea amigo , it was only because the thread starter held up Hatton as an example of 100% english and I was just saying that if you looked into you would probably find he wasn't I just picked Northern European at random.
