Because he has had one fight at 140. How does that possibly make him the best?

Hatton was the lineal champ, and defended his title 6 times.

I give Pac all the credit in the world for beating Hatton and generally being a great fighter, but come on, the mans career at Light-Welter consists of one fight. :patsch

Thats not the question. You asked 'who was the BEST 140 pounder of this decade', you didn't ask 'who had the best win at 140'?

I voted Hatton, but could have gone with Tszyu also.

what did KT do over 2001 on wards, his best was before 2001, i always thought KT was at his prime in 2000, but onwards for hatton wins over Kostya tszyu, malignaggi, urango , tackie, phillips, hatton has had way more victorys post Tszyus era, KT is by far the better boxer, but hatton did more over 2001 than KT did

that one fight of pacquiao is better than the entire career of KT from 2001 onwards...

You ******* are starting to get out of line again.

Pac's victory over Hatton was NOT better than Kostya's win over the young, prime and undefeated Judah!

You can't be serious. You seem like a sensible poster so I assume you are joking.

yea i would, like i said hatton has done more at 140 than all those fighter in this era, hatton has fought 22 times compared to KT's 7 including his hatton lost, this loss to me prove's that hatton has just passed the torch to pacquio, i wasnt going to discredit his career from it,

It doesn't matter. KT's KO of Judah was a better win.

And KT, Cotto and even Hatton had a better body of work at 140 therefore should be rated higher than Pac at that weight.

It does not offset it. That was a peak Judah who was ruined mentally during that fight. Plus he had some other quality wins before and after that. His decline was rapid also. He had come off a very good win where he toasted Sharmba Mitchell in 3 rounds right before the Hatton fight. Zoo was the #3 p4p fighter in the world then.

Hatton's style was just poison for Zoo who couldn't deal with that type of pressure. He dealt with boxers and boxer-punchers very well though.

Yeah, but the thing is Tyzu got tko'd by Hatton. And who is Judah before he got KOd by Tyzu? He's a flash in the pan champ who is now relegated to a gatekeeper status.
