    Mayweather

He's been the best fighter in the world all these years, so he'd be the best at 140 too.

    Doesn't work that way.

Ironically his stay at 140 was his weakest stint!

    It does for me.

Until it changes, I don't see a single fighter at 140 (in all those years or currently) that I would pick to beat Mayweather.

Pacquiao would have the best chance, but I'd still favor Floyd over him.

If I can't see any challenger taking the throne from him, then I can't choose anyone over him.

did he say greatest or did he say best? learn to read.

its close, between Pacquiao and Tszyu who was amazing in the early part of the decade.

KT and Cotto have way better resumes than FLoyd at 140 and no doubt in my mind would have given him a run for his money at that weight.

And I would pick both KT and Cotto to come up victorious over PBF mainly based on their proven record!

They may have better resumes than Floyd at 140... but Carlos De Leon has a better resume at Cruiserweight than Muhammad Ali, but I wouldn't pick him to beat Ali - it's a crap example, I know, but it's basically along the lines of my reasoning.

Some fighters are special... they go beyond the bounds of weight class. Mayweather is one of those fighters.

Cotto couldn't catch Mayweather and Tszyu is too easy to tag and move laterally against, so Mayweather would out box him too.

I look at who pacman has fought and who floyd has ducked......i mean fought and easily it's pacman. To be the best you have to beat the best.

    You're not understanding me.

I'm saying that Mayweather is beyond weight classes. The same way Robinson and Leonard were.

You can't define him by what he's done, but by what he can do and how he does it. His style works at 140 just as well as it does at 130... we know this because he's pulled it off at 147 too. Fighters who stay at one weight do so because they know they can't pull it off beyond their most comfortable weight.

That is not a problem for Mayweather, because his style relegates weight meaningless at 140. Stepping it up to 154 and beyond is different, but not 140.

Even at 140 floyd has fought 2 guys that went 11 rounds and 1 the distance and pacman tore up in half the time. Dude, i was the biggest anti-pacman.....lol

Same can be said for floyd's huggers, even ,more because he avoids the best fighters and they still ride his jockstrap like it's a pony.

Asero you changed your ****in tunes! The other week you said Tszyu was the no.1 140lber of this decade until I posed my opinion.....now you have changed yours.

I still say Hatton. With such a great win over Hatton, if Pac were to beat Bradley next or anotehr champ then he would surely be no.1

But the way I see it, Pac might've just beaten a 'shot' Hatton :rofl

Joking, just turning it around to what everyone said of Ricky's best win over Tszyu. And, to be fair, Hatton's punch resistance has been dwindling lately.

Still, one of the greatest K.O's of all time, and how one-sided it was. Shocking.
