hatton is a limited fighter with longetivity...

tszyu was not that great from 2001 onwards...he lost to hatton in a fight he was 3-1 favorite

Since 2001 it's Hatton, regardless of his devastating loss yesterday. You don't become the best fighter at a weight over the last 10 years after one fight.

Terry Norris lost a couple of times by brutal K.O during his prime at 154, yet people still rank him up there with the likes of McCallum.

Like 154, 140 is a fairly shallow division.

Hatton is still the best of this decade.

maybe you would also rank erdei higher than calzaghe at 175 since calzaghe fought only twice or thrice in that weight...

how about ranking bryd over roy jones at heavy and marquez lower than diaz at 135

Ricky was lucky that he only needed to beat a 36 at the end of his carrier tszyu in his own backyard with a biased ref to be the top 140 fighter.
The reason he was successful after that is because the division has been **** for a while.
He didn't want any part of Floyd at 140 and he just needed to defend his title against Malignagis and Urangos.

Are you seriously comparing William Joppy to Ricky Hatton?

im not comparing joppy to hatton...

the moment trinidad beat joppy...you would still rank trinidad lower than joppy simply because trinidad has only fought once at 160

Over a period of time like 8 years, yes. At that time no.
