For those saying Tyson.. he didn't do work after round 5.. The Rock should have this in the bag.. but people are clearly only considering the first few rounds.
Pre-prison Tyson had a few stoppages from round 6 on. My favorite moment in his decision win over Ruddock was actually the brutal bodywork he did in the 10th round. Post-prison, he was largely ineffective after a few rounds.
Holyfield is up there for the number of exciting fights he's been in. Dokes, Qawi 1, Stewart 1, Mercer, Bowe 1-3, Cooper, Foreman, Tyson 1 (even though it's overrated), Moorer 2, were all good fights. It's crazy when you think of the punishment he has absorbed over the years.
No sugar ray robinson love? Dude was an iron chinned warrior not afraid to take a punch with BOMBS in both gloves. also roberto duran loved to fight. He would stand in front of a bull and probably put the bull on his ass.
since all of you had good choices, but there only can be one. I will show you who the real #1 all action ever is. he isnt in the poll, because I thaught about him after I made the thread, but this man was the wildest sob ever boxing, the description of action himself, wilder than a young mike tyson and a better KO ratio than thomas hearns, here is the winner..... I guess you don't have to be emotionally unstable to be an action fighter, but it probably doesn't hurt...cept maybe for the muder/suicide thing.
I truely bwlieve he woulda had a few wars with pac. He was something special. So aggressive. To bad he was either krazy or set up...
