it's not so much excuses its just the stratification of our sport.
nah i agree. but we are talking about the U.S. amatuer system. it's collapsed and they didnt know it.
Also this is the same reason why joe who learned to box in a shed against a wrapped up carpet and his musician dad as trainer is also why Joe was never picked for the olympics.

and side note: excuses? i'm from Brentford bruv. im not an american saying "oh it was the water that caused the boat to sink"

Is that Brentford in London with the football team punching above their weight?

It’s $120 a month now at gleasons lol. And yeah the crawford madrimov card on saturday just proved again how bad the state of boxing in the USA is, turki lost money, crawford isn’t what they try to make him be and jared got destroyed. You need american heavyweights to run the show, without it there is no boxing, and the american boxers we have today are so boring or speak terribly like they are still 15 year olds cursing in high school. It’s extremely depressing if you love boxing and have a passion for it to see where it is right now.

Gleasons is a glorified boxercise gym. There are legit underground gyms in NYC with real young talent, that are much more affordable. But you have to know people to get into one.

If there was real talent we would be seeing them in the pro’s and in the olympics. I’ve seem so many boxers look the best in sparring and look really intimidating but they can’t replicate that without headgear and in front of the bright lights and fans. It’s been like this for a long time.

 I'll continue to believe in Deontay Wilder.

The angry one will wake up soon.

Really that's just loyalty. Dude hasn't officially retired and if I am honest I do not think there needs to be a defacto king. If everyone active is garbage then let's call it what it is; a garbage region. We are garbage. Probably because La Raza has taken over the population but we ain't big boys ... yet ... very often. White dudes and black dudes are usually bigger still. Making population size and average human size stats are kind of misleading.

Maybe one of these jabronis I see no reason to be excited about at all might be better than the other jabronis, but can a fool get a Dokes at least? I ain't even trying to pray for a Dempsey, Ali, Louis. I know what that's asking way too much for this **** poor generation but can a fool get a Witherspoon caliber champ? Tim weren't nothing to sleep on man, respectable.

I don't respect any American HW enough to call him champ, best, top, number 1 in any form outside of Wilder and Ruiz and that's back dated respects. That's just loyalty to the mans that was the champ.

I am American, PR, latino. I want to say to you that Ruiz blood is strong. Hell I really want to say that southern strength in Wilder can't die, it's just dormant. Truth is though, those dudes ain't even trying like they did when they were champs. So I'll put respect on their name for who they once were but I ain't about to disrespect the king by saying some **** like ****ing Hunter belongs in the same category as champions.

Can a fool get a Byrd? Wilder 2.0? Throw me a new bean bro. Big fat southern white tank ****er or some such? Nah man, we got ****ing Hunter. He's kinda decent and kinda **** at everything. Just like the shape of the ****, a plain ass, dead average, HW that belongs on the records of men like Witherspoon.

Tim Witherspoon would **** Michael Hunter up. Just to be clear.

 This post is totally unnecessary but I think it's funny juxtaposed to what I wrote above.
