I disagree here... Mmmmm yes! I love overrating me some Koki Kameda (not joking). Oh yes... [repositions legs]
Guys it's pacquaio, just stop the hating. No asian has achieved this much in the sport, as Pac has - and neither have they affected the sport as much as Pac has. Pac is already a icon and legend, and he is still fighting.
hope youre not one of those numbnuts that go "filipinos are pacific islanders not asian" or "middle easterners aren't asian"
For real though, any answer not being Pacquiao is just some ****ery that shouldn't be condoned. :good
Chris John is the best we ever have. There is also Ellyas Pical, 3 time 115 lbs champ. He warred Galaxy, TKO'd in 14.
Of course it would be Pac, but since we seltom talk about Asian fighters, how about Jiro Watanabe? For me, talent wise he could have been the greatest Asian fighter, but the short career falls short in the greatest Asian rankings, but still he was a respected champion.
What Pacquiao has accomplished has to put him as one of the best if not the best Asian fighter. I've read up on Pancho Villa and was stunned by how many times he fought in such a short career. But was his level of competition better than what Pac has faced? I don't think so. One ask, could Pac have fought so many fights in such a short period of time like Villa did? Maybe, maybe not, but that's not the point. When determining the best, you have look at accomplishments and level of competition. Am I wrong? The Thai great K. Galaxy had a great record and title defenses. Even more stunning because had no time in the amateurs, just went from Muay Thai to Boxing. But you can't compare his comp to what Pac has faced, in my opinion. I'm saying Pacquioa.
