Last 15 years? I don't know, Barrera maybe? Chavez, but most of his best work was done before 1992, although he had some nice wins from 92' on. I would say most of the top fighters since 1992 were good body punchers and understood the importance of going to the body.
Exactly. A jab to the body does very little damage. Mayweather is not a great bodypuncher. Chavez, Cotto, Hatton, Gatti to a degree, Barrera and others are body punchers.
And Goyo Vargas, Henry Bruseles, Arturo Gatti, and Zab Judah. Seriously, some people act like you have to always dig in the body constantly and take out guys to the body like Mickey Ward to be a good bodypuncher. You don't. Effective bodypunching can come from guys that mix in body punches in their attack very well to hurt and weaken their opponent, or they may hurt their guys with a body shot and make them leary of the body attack, then go back upstairs.
