he plead no contest. He's admitting to beating her w/o admitting it. That's what no-contest plea is. As much money as floyd had, he could afford an attorney and fight for his name. Nope....beat up his baby momma, threatened his kids....and that's all cool with Floyd fans. WTF?!?!

I remember ESPN First Take Stephen A Smith mentioning them all in a list, it wasn't just that one BM & that other Baby mama that he is now been cool with also was on that list of Women that accused him of beating her.

 

Floyd has plead guilty/no contest on three occasions of beating up women. And yet, he's 'not guilty' to his fans.

He plead no contest or took a plea deal to prevent putting his young son on the stand. I call that taking one for the family. A man is supposed to protect his child. He never admitted beating her what he admitted was restraining a woman high on drugs.

 

No contest is not pleading guilty that is not what it means. There are reasons to plead no contest such as avoiding a protracted trial etc.

You know exactly what it means. It means he's accepting the sentencing of a guilty plea. If this is such an easy case to see that he was innocent, why go to jail for it? How ****in stupid is that? "Oh, i didn't do it, but i'll go to jail for it. **** it!"

That is all hearsay speculation not evidence tested in court. My problem with some of you is that anything to do with Floyd you will believe the most negative spin on things. Is it so hard to believe he wanted to protect his family.

By the way I met Ward in person at the MGM Grand in 2012. You know the saying “Never meet your heroes because you will be disappointed…” I must say that was not the case at all . Andre Ward in person was as fine a gentleman as I have ever met, a real class act. I think Manny is a nice bloke though I have never met him in person. I was hoping he would win the elections for President in the Philippines.

Floyd plead no contest because they reduced the charges to that for the plea. Otherwise he faced a max of 30+ years on the others if found guilty in trial. He took the plea for the lesser sentance.
