Owen Moran. Crossed the Atlantic and knocked out Battling Nelson.

 

Herol is up there, Kirkland Laing was talented, Watson was special (Lee, Benn and Eubank II fights), and Dean Francis looked excellent.

 

He won a world 'title'; but not THE title, and if that is the question the answer might be very different.

 

Jem too won a world 'title'.

Only going on fighters I have seen live Herol Graham,Michael Watson and when mentioning Kirkland Laing everyone forgets Colin Jones a very underrated fighter who got the better of KL twice both 9th round KO's.

The fights against Milton McCrory both so close to winning.

 

Graham and Laing from the 70s-80s, Watson from the 80s and Francis mixed race.
