MMA doesnt have the obsession with losses that boxing has, bringing up Silva's and Fedor's does nothing to discredit how good they were at their peak. Bet you are a big Mayweather fan right?

Anderson won the fight. Hagler was rocked against Hearns and came back to win, and Ali was losing against Foreman until he won, would you discredit those wins?

And Aldo and Bones are not in the running for greatest ever yet so debating whether they could be is fruitless pointless and unquantifiable

A sport that has less than twenty years of history to its name shouldn't be worrying about labelling ATGs or "best evers".

With that out of the way, however, let me say that Silva doesn't have countless losses. He got grappled to a decision in his third fight, got submitted by cans twice, and lost via DQ in a fight he was clearly winning. That doesn't exactly add up to "countless losses" and I consider those submissions to Chonan and Takase to be as relevant as Fireman Flynn over Dempsey.

Im probably going to go with Anderson Silva and I dont like saying that. Even before he hit his peak in the UFC he had collected wins over Newton, Horn, Sakurai and Rivera. In the UFC agianst the best competition nobody has ever been this dominant. Holds UFC record with 8 successfull title defenses. Destroyed Hendo, Griffin, Franklin 2x, Belfort, Leben and Marquardt. 6 wins over former or current Champions. Did well in Shooto at 168, dominated 185, 2-0 at 205.
