I'm assuming you mean of the 2010s. Well it's got to be between Andre Ward and Oleksandr Usyk. Those are basically the only two acceptable options. I would pick Ward though, but just slightly.

Canelo's the Fighter of the Decade period - including Mayweather and Pac. Mayweather beat Canelo H2H but didn't fight for half the decade. When Mayweather won the award it was laughable considering he retired in 2015. Canelo accomplished a lot in the 2nd half of the decade to overtake what Mayweather did in the first half of the decade.

And Pac, Pac was knocked out cold by Marquez, performed well below expectation vs Mayweather and lost to Jeff Horn. Now he did have the big wins over Matthysse and Thurman and had other solid wins in the decade but those wins do not un-do the KO loss and his other losses. If you remove Mayweather and Pac from the equation it comes down to him and Ward. Ward retired in 2017. Ward may have been in the running for FOTD when he beat Kovalev but look what Canelo did after Ward retired. Beating GGG, Jacobs then moving up to LHW to beat Kovalev, and he did it clean without low blows like Ward.

Even though he wasnt as active during the 2010s im surprised Marquez doesnt get a mention. Yes it could be argued that he was at the very end of his career and suffered some losses, but the whole body of his career is very impressive
Marquez beat Pacquiao in 2012. Possibly scoring one of the bigger wins.

Could see all kinds of valid arguments for Usyk, Alvarez, Marquez, Fury, Joshua

OK then it comes down to Canelo and Ward. Fury KO'ing Wilder was after the new decade started so you can't include that win when discussing FOTD 2010s. And even with it, Fury still can't touch Canelo. Too much inactivity, problems, almost getting KO'd by Wilder, not enough quality wins etc.

It should be between Canelo and Ward. Ward retired a while ago and Canelo has remained active and won titles in more weight divisions than Andre.

I still think Gennady beat Alvarez both times- the first time a more clear cut win- but they awarded Alvarez the win in the rematch and he did dismantle the corpse of Kovalev to win a LHW strap. I don't want to say he's cherrypicked his way to the top of the P4P list but he's been in there with some fighters that had no business sharing a ring with him.

Crawford deserves a mention as well but his lack of quality opposition puts him a few notches below Ward and Alvarez.

Marquez maybe just for the Pac KO lol. Usyk, please. Joshua is disqualifed from FOTD consideration after being stopped by Andy Ruiz.

    Poll says

    2010 to 2020

Fury dominated two top heavies in their back yards

I do not agree with him being the best of the era .

    I just included him .

You said decade which is 10 years. Saying 2010-2020 as a decade would mean 2010 until 2020 not through 2020. If you mean including 2020 it's more than a decade.
