Tyson, I'd add him, but I wouldn't say it was forgone at all. Rock brings a level of willpower that Tyson might not be able to reciprocate.

Tyson gets hit and stays hit. Tyson can't take it.

I've seen him take some monster shots.
I doubt Walcott or Moore would floor him.:think

He could beat Ali and he would beat Holmes, he had a good chance against a prime Louis because of his pressure but I wouldn't favor him but this is a tough fight for both men always. Dempsey - Marciano would be a war, Dempsey starting fast but IMO Marciano breaks him down late in a war...not many of these fights/wars can you get out of one man but Marciano was a nightmare to share a ring with

You'd hope not. Once floored, he's guaranteed to lose.

Holmes would jab his face into raw hamburger.Larry got up from Shavers right hand, he survives Marciano's and no way Rocky wins a dec from Holmes! Louis turn him into a gargoyle before the ref steps into save him. Ali ? I'm not going there!

I think with Mike it would be more of a mind game and getting past the early rounds or frustrating him which was something that could be done with Mike once he shot his load and getting hit with something hard would discourage him. Evander did it, so did Williams and McBride and I think Buster getting off the floor. a fit and focused Walcott could do it and Moore had a lot of tricks up his sleeve if he had to fire from the defensive, the experience level of these 2 men was huge

Marciano was never stopped on cuts and are we forgetting the Marciano right hand ELITE and the differences between Shavers and Rocky was that Marciano was a known finisher and Shavers was known to drop them or hurt then and then wither, like he did vs Stander,Mercado,Cobb,Stallings,Lyle,Quarry, and others stamina over 12 rds was an issue for Earnie 15 rds and late power was not an issue for Marciano

People act like Tyson and Marciano coming straight at each other is only to Tyson's advantage.
I don't think so. Rocky would crack him on the chin.

Rocky would eat 3 or 4 power punches first and have to reset (if his chin/legs permitted)

But you agree that Rocky could be outboxed though, right? And that he was fairly hittable? At heavyweight, Holmes is much, much better at circling and jabbing than the (38-year-old) Walcott who gave Marciano so much trouble.

    It's possible but I don't think so.
Tyson needed room to get his punches off. Marciano would just crowd inside.

On any given day, Marciano could have beaten anyone who ever fought.
All he needed was a clear shot at the head.
If you seen the photo of Walcott being KOd, his head is flat as a Frisbee. No man can take a punch like that and remain conscious.

I don't think either of those versions would get past 6 rounds with Tyson.
