    Tyson knocks out Marciano

Marciano did have an iron chin though he proved it on film. Charlie Goldman said it himself

Tyson would crack it because he had the power to crack iron chins

Marciano was up at the count of two vs Moore and didn't wobble when he got up. Seriously buzzed? Maybe I disagree but that was a monster shot Moore landed

For all we know, it might be utterly impossible for any human being to knock Marciano out, right?

As someone who got hit quite a bit, it's not just getting hit hard that's the problem. It's the guy who hits you before you know it that really causes issues. Opponents were overwhelmed by Tyson's attack, even quick ones. He was a force of nature.

Tyson, Liston, Foreman, Bowe, Lewis, The Klits all run through Marciano. Ali, Louis, Dempsey, Holmes, Holyfield, Frazier all struggle but also beat Marciano. Dempsey and Frazier would be insane, but I feel Patterson might be the best opponent Marciano defeats. Quarry would be another great match up. Schmeling too. A prime Charles, Pinklon Thomas, David Tua...damn.

That may well be true. However my BAD eye has never seen Bruno throw a punch, miss and fall over himself.

    Marciano on the other hand???????????????????????????????????????

Do you actually live on planet earth? A complete numpty who made his name beating natural Light Heavies, journeymen, and OLD, well past their sell by date legends is going to beat Ali?

I can only assume you mean the version of Ali, that had already been diagnosed with Parkinson's syndrome.

Everyone is a force of nature.

Tyson didn't fight anyone like Marciano. Results all depends on how the styles match up. Marciano crowded in and wrestled, throwing unorthodox digs and powerful chopping blows. He was awkward and scruffy, ugly brawling. Tyson's style was more suited to overwhelm men who gave him room and stood upright, allowed him to spring forward and upwards, the Berbicks and Brunos.

Those guys threw one punch at a time, didn't understand or dare to follow up much.

On the contrary, his style nullifies Tyson's attack.

Size wise one of the better fighters wthat stood in front of himwas Marvis Frazier who lasted 30 seconds, while Marvis is bigger than Marciano, that is what would happen to any sub par 200 pounder weve seen so far if a 220 Tyson went for a k.o.Its not reasonable to assume 185 Marcaino would last long at all if Tyson goes at any 5'9 guy who was dropped before by far less punchers.Frazier beat bone crusher smith, even Smith would be one of Marcianos toughest opponents.

Rocky would be very slow to react to the speed and explosiveness of Tyson. Sorry, but it's really stupid to think Rocky could compete with most of the top HW's that came after him. He's too small, too slow, and not skilled enough to compensate for the things he lacks.

Even the shot to sh*t version of Tyson at the later stages of his career who was only in it for the money, and was only good for 2 or 3 rounds is far too much for Marciano.

He would come straight at Marciano from the opening bell, and if he hits him with the kind of shots he hit Danny Williams with in the 1st, Marciano is toast.

Even if he miraculously gets up, his problems are only beginning. He lacks the skill to avoid the follow up punches, and he lacks the size and strength to tie Tyson up.

Marciano had the greatest right hand one punch shot of all time - it was so great that it had a nickname - Suzie Q - not something that could be said for any other heavyweight. Marciano was unbeaten and unbeatable in his era. Those saying Marciano is too small and unskilled etc to cope with HWs after him wont accept that Tyson has no chance of beating Wladimir Klitscko when the same issues apply.

    No, he did not.

He hit Don ****ell with a million right hands before forcing that midget butterball down. How many Lennox Lewis, Shavers, Foreman, Waldo right hands would ****ell have taken?

None of those fighters knocked out everyone they faced, Marciano had a KO record of 88%, he would have a great chance of beating Louis and Ali. Marciano was unbeaten in his era, he beat Don - whats the big deal every ATG has performances where they don't look convincing but Rocky still found a way to always win. Your telling me Ali looked great vs Doug Jones, Lewis looked great vs Mercer, Shavers looked great vs Larry Holmes, Foreman looked great vs Jimmy Young, Waldo couldnt knockout a cruiserweight called David Haye.

Name me another heavyweight that won every world title fight? Name me a heavyweight that looked invincible in every world title fight? They dont exist. Matthews, Charles, Louis, Walcott, Archie Moore must of been pretty awful fighters to have lost to and got knockout out by someone as ordinary as Rocky.
