Matt Serra seems to hold the best post-TUF career moment in his win over GSP.

It's gotta be Griffin. He went on to beat Shogun, earn a title fight, and beat Rampage. Serra was given his shot for winning tough, he didn't really earn it after tough, and has less quality wins than Griffin after the show.

GSP was considered top 3 P4P at the time.

 Yeah, I forgot about Wayne Weams. He was ****ing ghastly. Blake Bowman was just as bad though.

Koscheck at his best is a better fighter in terms of ability than Forrest Griffin or Matt Serra were at their respective bests, IMO.

Well determining who is the "best", meaning most skilled, is too subjective. I'd have to say:

    Serra
    Kos
    Maynard
    Diego
    Florian
    Rashad

Those 6 are probably the most well rounded, skilled fighters.

But another rating would be who accomplished the most. And for this there are a few different criteria:

    1) first who has been a UFC champ:
Rashad - Won belt from Griffin, no defenses
Griffin - Won belt from Rampage, no defenses
Serra - Won belt from GSP, no defenses

I give this category to Serra, only due to the fact that he beat GSP (by TKO) for the title. GSP is arguably the best MMA fighter ever (arguably).

Wins over Top/Elite (top 5 in weight class) competition:
    Griffin: Rampage, Shogun
    Rashad: Rampage, Forrest
    Serra: GSP
    Diego: Kampmann, Karo?
    Maynard: Florian, Edgar?

I give this category to Griffin because he finished Shogun and that is very impressive to me. Whether Shogun was in shape or not, he was still Shogun and the #1 Lt Heavy at the time. I don't think that single victory is better than serra beating GSP, but the help of the Rampage victory pushes him past Serra.

    Best overall record and resume:

This one is very tough because it's also subjective in a sense. Maynard has no losses and one draw to the champ (edgar) who he has previoiusly beaten, but not many other top guys on his resume. Griffin has fought the best competition having faced Anderson, Shogun, Rampage, Rashad but doesn't have the best record and has also lost to Jardine and Tito. Serra has lost the majority of his top fights but has held his own and fought extremely tough competition, maybe tougher than Griffin. Rashad has fought decent competition and only lost to Machida when Machida was #1.

I would say this category comes down to Rashad and Maynard. And since Maynard has a win over the only guy he didn't beat (Edgar) as well as a draw against him when Edgar was #1 in the world I would give this category to Maynard.

Serra has the best win of any TUF contestant thus far, but I don't think he is the best fighter.

I think that Evans would have to be my pick at the moment, but I think that Maynard may take that spot soon. That's win or lose in a rematch with Edgar. Maynard defeated Florian, which was a big victory in my opinion, and will have the opportunity for some more big wins in the future.

    Why no love for Koscheck?!

Don't get me wrong, the guy is a complete and utter a-hole.

But his performances against Johnson and Daley were excellent exhibitions of high-level wrestling skill.

Although I don't like his fighting style much, I still think that he beats EVERYONE at 170 other than GSP - and I include Fitch in that.

Koscheck is a bad, bad man.
