Who Is The Best Finisher In Boxing??? I think these guys are the best in the business. Am I missing anyone?
Deontay Wilder's 42 wins, 41 knockouts. The only fighter he hasn't knocked out as a pro outweighed him by 40+ pounds each time they fought. And Wilder still floored him 4 times. Who has Beterbiev, Canelo, Crawford, or Inoue faced who outweighed them by 40+ pounds? Wilder hasn't outweighed an opponent in 10 years. If all of Wilder's opponents were his weight or smaller, like those others faced, he'd have probably killed a couple people by now. Honestly.
And 40 of those guys were complete nobody's. He's fought one elite, and has four opportunities to finish him, yet has failed.
Let Beterbiev, Crawford, Canelo and Inoue fight ONE ELITE RING CHAMP 40 pounds heavier than they are, and let me know how many knockdowns they score. Go away. It's clear who the best finisher is ... the guy who still knocked out everyone he faced no matter how much weight he had to give up (except for the ELITE, 40 POUNDS HEAVIER Fury).
Wilder has only Koed very low level opposition (his best Ortiz who went life and death with Chalres Martin lol) Whilst comparing to Bud who is the only one to stop Porter (I had Porter edging Spence).
Fury isn't elite, he has just faced a group of has beens and bums barely better than those Wilder faced.
Wilder was the WBC Heavyweight Champion, made 10 successful WBC Heavyweight Title defenses (including a two-knockdown successful defense against Fury) and koed EVERYONE he faced in his career except for Fury. And Wilder hasn't outweighed anyone in 10 years. When you find any current fighter who faced the same obstacles and still managed to do that, get back to me. But Wilder is the best finisher today.
