    Wladimir alreay beat the drum known as Samuel Peter.

    Haye is all talk & very little action so far at HW. Bonin? Then he cherry picks the oldest, weakest guy in the top 10 to prove he's worthy?

    Chagaev is out on sick leave.

    Valuev should beat Ruiz easily this time & he'd probably pose the biggest threat to Wladimir at this point.

    But right now the best HW by far is..............

    You have your opinions RUSKULL, I have mine. Wlad vs Peter in 08, that would determine the best Heavyweight once an for all, the first fight was very competitive, the second should be as well.

    If he had beaten Wlad then I understand. Peter is above a guy like Maskaev but probably no better than Golota. ;)

    Mentioning Hayes among the real Heavy weight fighters is HYPING. :D

    I know he has the capabilities but he hasn't proven it yet by his accomplishment . . . not yet at this point.

    Haye means nothing in the division unless he gets on the ladder. Look at the hype Mike Mollo got. Where is he now?

    The fight took place in September of 05, Peter just turned 25 yearsold at the time, which means he was extremely green, even so, he gave Wlad the fight of his love and greatest win of his career to date imo. If Peter/Wlad fought now it would tell us who is the best once and for all.

    I agree that Sammy was a bit green in '05. It was too much too soon. I'd say another couple of W's for Peter and he'll be ready to take him on.

    You could make a case it's Chris Bryd of 00/01, but I honestly think his toughest match was Peter, Peter was undefeated, heavy handed, very aggressive, and had a solid chin as well, everything Wlad has had a problem with over his career, yet Wlad just barely made it out with a tough, hard, victory.
