A 40 yr old WK with a 16 month layoff after getting beat by Fury is a better win for Joshua cos he weighed a bit less? & he (AJ) was down on the cards IMO before Wlad blew his wad! Fury handled a much fresher Chisora TWICE too, same Chisora who many thought beat Whyte. Fairly easily beat Wlad (I am a huge Wlad fan) & was just jobbed of taking Wilders '0' who would be favoured to stop anyone on AJs roster.. I don't even think Fury is fully back on form yet either.
I said nearly unbeatable barring a KO or dodgy cards... His ring generalship & skill is a level above the others. He beat all those u mentioned, stop with revisionist history.
Too me Fury is the best heavyweight in the world since in everyone's eyes he beat Wilder but got robbed. And fury beat the man who beat the man which was wlad way before Joshua did. Let's face facts joshua beat fury's left overs in wlad and that's a fact truth. Belts dont really proves who's really the number 1 best until you beat the real man in the division
And you're crazy. Wlad weigh 240 pounds when he lost by tko to joshua's while he weigh 245 pounds when he easily lost to fury smh. Wlad weigh 241 in 2015 when he didn't look really good when he beat Jennings smh. Better version wlad that joshua fought? More like a crappy excuse to try and make joshua beating wlad was way better then fury beating wlad Smh. Look at fury he easily beat wlad in a boring fight when fury weigh 247 pounds but in everyone eyes fury beat wilder when fury weigh 256 pounds. 9 pounds different. The Fact is fury easily beat the number 1 best heavyweight in wlad way before joshua beat fury's left over in wlad and that's the truth.
Fury>Joshua. Fury beat the man first in wlad before joshua did. <<<That should really count not the bogus belts that joshua has.
The number 1 fighter in a divison should be the fighter wit the best record and that's clearly AJ. Boxrec, Ring and ESPN all agree its AJ (Boxrec actually have AJ ahead by a Very large margin).
I would rank them AJ, Fury, Povetkin, Wilder and Ortiz. After that, there's a bit of a drop off. Shortly, age will remove Pov and Ortiz from contention.
I'm a rekindled Fury fan, but Joshua's body of work during Fury's layoff cannot be denied. I think he's a deserving number 1 in the division until proven otherwise.
Atm I have it AJ/Fury/Wilder. AJ is top on who he has faced for now, down the line I hope all three face each other then we will all know.
You thought Parker looked better v AJ than Fury did v Wilder?! No other heavyweight in the world could have comeback from that knockdown/KO in the 12th, it was awesome.
If AJ took the same amount of shots from Wilder that he took vs Povetkin he would be knocked out early, his defense was crap compared to Fury`s in his last fight.
Joshua punches far harder, and he also came back from a much harder right hand, left hook. Fury completely changed his style to that of an outboxing defensive fighter after getting decked by Pajkic and Cunningham, because he himself knows his chin isnt that great. Wilder has very good one punch power, Joshua has great power in every punch. This content is protected This content is protected
