Takam is way beyond journeyman, he's more a gatekeeper to the elite.

I like Kassi, I also enjoyed Jason Bergman who Parker fought on his way up - while Parker wasn't in trouble the guy proved that he could be quite wiley and interesting... clearly a journeyman but a worthy filter for those who deserve to start moving into the rankings, or not.

Take all the bells and whistles away and Stiverne fits that mould to be fair.

It appears that Chisora has been heading this direction since his loss to Vitali and then immediately signing on to fight Haye.
    back to back unwillable fights.
His run as regional champ was solid, but then he rematched Fury and completely looked the part of a journeyman.

Hope he can make some money in his travels.

The way the heavyweight division is, there's not that many of those type of journeymen. There's a lot of guys who would be journeymen if they were matched up together to show who doesn't deserve a title shot. If they can get in the top 80 they're on a track to belt fighting guys below that.
The best journeymen at heavyweight is probably Fred Kassi. But journeymen aren't in the real top 100 so they are likely to actually upset a good fighter only give decent fighters rounds. At best, they could expose a prospect. Rossy, Nascimento (who probably should've won against Wach recently), Joey Abel (who exposed a prospect recently), Dominick Guinn, George Arias are other journeymen. They don't have a hope of a title shot and they'll give top 80 fighters rounds.
