Of all the young heavyweight up-and-comers, who looks to be the best right now?

Perhaps Andy Ruiz, Anthony Joshua or Hughie Fury?

Both are up there. Tyson Fury is still under 25 also. Interesting to see jpw Anthony Joshua goes in the pros

I was impressed by Andy Ruiz Jr this morning, but I saw his short reach does restrict him in some ways.

I wonder if he'll be able to cope with a big super-heavyweight like Anthony Joshua or Hughie Fury?

Ruiz obviously made a statement by stopping Hanks

Hughie looks to have the tools, and looks a much better prospect than cousin Tyson, but he needs to step up in competition for the fans to get a better perspective of him, the same can be said about Parker, who looked very impressive against a shot to **** Botha, but has still yet a lot to prove

Szpilka needs to improve a lot, especially defensively, if he wants to go anywhere, if not, he's a KO waiting to happen

Joshua is yet to fight professionally, so he can't be rated

Gerber is utter trash, there's a reason Sauerland has kept him from fighting contenders

until I see it otherwise, I will go with Parker

    Joshua, of COURSE.

Other than him, I'd go with Huey: He's faced nothing but guys who dream of being good enough to be called cans, but he does look really, really good.

Joshua hasn't even turned pro yet dummies..... I'd go with Hughie and Ruiz, Jr. though.

Yeah but he's been pro for only a few months... your boy Wilder has been facing similar competition for almost 5 years  :rofl

I'd have to go with Joshua but as mentioned above he hasn't made his debut yet, apart from that it'd be either Hughie or Ruiz Jr. I like the look of Parker too.

Parker looked good against Botha. lets be honest though, Botha has been shot for years but he usually takes things into deep water. I was very impressed that Parker bombed him out so quickly.

Anthony Joshua and Hughie Fury seem to have the most potential. But we've seen so little (or none) of them to really make any judgements.

It's going to be interesting to see which ones develop into top contenders during the next few years.

Ivan Dychko isn't pro but is a factor in this equation.

Possibly. Joshua decisively defeated him in the Olympics and also beat him in another tournament.

The very talented Savon Jr (who was robbed against Joshua) would be a potential champion for sure. Unfortunately he'll likely stay in Cuba.
