I don't think Frank does very well against the majority of ranked guys in the 80's.

Yeah, I heard that Mac but apparently he was more protective of Bruno than the rest of his boys.

His timing was way off too although the hand speed was still there. Agree totally. Coetzee 81 - 84 blitzes Frank.

I think Lawless always wanted easy fights for his boys.

Think so but I think LeDoux was on the deck too.

If I was a pro, I suppose I'd be pretty happy with that.

The story was that Scott had retired but the Cartel offered him £25,000 and a week for him and his wife in the Dorchester or some such place on Park Lane. Another smart move.
I remember it made big headlines at the time because he'd taken Larry Holmes 7. It was the front page of Boxing News and the back of every daily.

There were rumours that stablemate and fellow heavyweight, Gary Mason, was growing increasingly frustrated that Lawless was seemingly holding him back in favour of Bruno even though there were many in their team that felt that Mason was the more naturally talented fighter of the two. Or maybe it was just Mason that was putting out those rumours?
