Need a fight between Postol and Crawford. Broner is not on that level. He is Maidana's *****.

I give a slight edge to crawford over postol at the moment these are the top two at 140 hopefully they will fight each other soon. the other guy is a total bum and irrelevant in the discussion.

I see there are already people trying to reverse history. Matthysse was coming into that fight as a significant favorite. Only few posters actually saw Postol as the legit threat he was.

Nothing bad that Matthysse lost. Matthysse still beats Crawford.

    What p4p perspective?

Name Crawford's best wins. Here, I'll do it right now.

    135 lbs.
Burns-Completely shot and didn't beat Beltran
Gamboa-Never a huge threat at 135 lbs. and clearly outsized
Beltran-Good win and arguably Crawford's best win currently

    140 lbs.
Dulorme-Pretty good fighter, but people had him losing to Lundy prior
Jean-Already beaten by Peterson in a non-competitive affair
    Lundy-Already beaten by Postol

Postol's win over Matthysse is better than anything on Crawford's resume.

That logical fallacy doesn't really mean anything.

Cotto > Lemieux - does that mean Canelo is better than Golovkin?

Gamboa had him hurt bad and Beltran found him. Matthysse is a terrible style match-up. Look who I'm talking too, though. :patsch

I used your own logic to display its fallacy. That Postol has one name on his CV which is potentially a better win at the weight shows very little.

As an aside, and on the topic of Matthysse, it's time we all revisited how highly he's rated. Guy has lost against every B- and above fighter he's ever faced and was never a legit world champ.

(The same can not be said for Burns and Gamboa - both have held world titles at multiple weight classes and both were outclassed by Crawford.)

Yeah I think Postol-Ceawford is a intriguing fight, Postol's has a good size edge and with his style can make it a 50/50 fight. Ultimately I think Crawford has a real mean streak and is a switch hitter with good skills like I him to take it in a big time unification which should be for Lineal as well.

Porter is a rugged fighter and has the best WW resume right now, I wouldn't be surprised if Porter beats Thurman as well.

Broner gets a lot of warranted flack for being a complete dunce but, I gotta give him some credit he's being fighting top 5/10 rated fighters through 4 divisions and wins Titles in them all. Broner doesn't have the brain for boxing but he does have ambition which is a admirable thing gotta respect it.

I just find it funny that 1 win means very little, especially if it was a win over arguably the #1 or #2 fighter in the division, especially by stoppage.

Burns was coming off a terrible performance against Gonzalez and an outright robbery of Beltran. That win wasn't all that great, and of course, Gamboa was completely outsized at 135 lbs. People have been begging him to move down before and after. Calm down with that talk, dude.

Who has Matthysse lost that was B-? Alexander was an outright robbery and Judah was a close fight, but most thought Matthysse won. Garcia was the #1 at 140 lbs. after he beat Matthysse. Who was B-!?

Viktor Postol, by the people who actually seen his career, was always considered a very good fighter and easily the most dangerous fighter at 140 lbs. No shame Matthysse lost that fight. Postol is a damn good fighter, and he beats Crawford, easily.
