tua ko1 fitzsimmons tua claims supremacy as the best heavyweight in history to come out of new zealand
I was born with 3 rows of teeth! My mom had the other two surgically removed when I was 8 because she said she "didn't want a son with sharkboy for a nickname"...
This is supposed to be comedy, right? Being a holder of the middle, lightheavy and heavy crown, Fitz is of course the greatest of their heavies (if in fact the kiwis can lay some claim... I thought he was Cornish).... However, put in the same ring, Fitz's noggin would be hoisted into the ether in due time. Sorry 220 pound all time great power punchers do hit harder than 175 all time great power punchers.
you wanna compare a 19th century bare knuckle fighter to one of the slickest heavys of the nineties and olympic medalist tua destroys him in less than a minute like what happened to moorer and moorer was a lot better lite heavy than fitz. im australian and fitz was raised in nz just like tua. whats the obsession with this clown fitz he was great for his time but thats no where near good enough compared to today you know these guys couldnt throw a combination more than 1 punch
hes a red head ginger freak, no normal aussie looks like that only a select few outcasts who have been shunned by normal society, plus he wouldnt survive the sun in australia with that skin tone. these freaks are much more common in nz
Fitzsimmons was undoubtedly a greater heavyweight, regardless of how a fight would have turned out between them. Tua could however claim the mantle on the basis that Fitz was born in Cornwal.
There's no doubt in my mind which one of those 2 is greater...but Tua would hurt Fitz very bad in a fight. Dunkhorst was a ****ing joke back in those days...he would be considered neighbourhood level street brawler in our times...
Fitzsimmons hit hard but he wasn't particularly hard to hit. I think Tua would land on him and knock him out.
