    Here's the TBRB top ten:

    Champion: Vacant
    1. Richard Abril
    2. Raymundo Beltran
    3. Ricky Burns
    4. Paulus Moses
    5. Terence Crawford
    6. Sharif Bogere
    7. Yuriokis Gamboa
    8. Denis Shafikov
    9. Omar Figueroa
    10. Daniel Estrada

Obviosly Vazquez is going to be back in the mix. Who do you think is the best lightweight in the world right now, the flat-out best?

Unfortunately i would say Miguel Vazquez is probably the best even though he's without doubt the most boring fighter in boxing, Richard Abril is a close second both in boredom inducement and being Number 1...the sooner both these guys get beat and are out of boxing the better.

Hopefully Crawford will live up to his potential as a year from now i think he will be the Number 1.

What sort of a list is that without Jorge Linares and Abril at #1?

If I remember correctly , Abrill pulled a quit job on Linares cos he knew he was going to get his ass kicked.

Jorge Linares isn't a top 20 LW, let alone top 10... Whatchoo talkin' bout?

Abril didn't pull a quit job on Linares either.

Linares lost back to back fights against DeMarco and Thompson and has yet to fight his way back into our rankings or the Ring rankings. He's back in the Fightnews rankings after Contreras. He's all the way up there at #8

Your odd bout of hysterics may have been a little premature. This is a normal ranking.

Abril is #2 with Ring, only because they continued to rank Vazquez throughout his inactivity. Fightnews have him at #6. I think Abril could be ranked lower, and it's possible Vazquez will be introduced at #1 and he will be...but I also think Abril is ok where he is, there is definitely nothing Burns, Beltran or Crawford has done to clearly be ranked above him.

What's happened here is: I called you the IRA in a thread where you're doing your usual crazy turn about Wladimir Klitschko and you've taken a butt-hurt pet. OK.

    Oh I think he's top 20. You really don't think he's top 20?

He only holds a few cupcake wins at the weight in addition to the stoppage losses to DeMarco and Sergio (T)...

So, yeah. Clearly below a guy like Paulus Moses for example.

Maybe it's not my opinion of H2H, but that's irrelevant with rankings.

If Burns stops Crawford I'd guess that makes him #1.
