With a cloud hanging over Pacquiao's head, he should'nt even be mentioned with those two...... .....but if Pac were clean, I'd rank them Mayweather Pacquiao DLH
Example - we all know that the Whitaker-Chavez fight was way wider in reality than 6-6, 6-6 & 7-5 Pea.... I dont trust those 3 tards, they actually seem to get worse in big fights. I fully expect FM to outbox MP but I dont trust the judges are gonna do their job properly... Im at least hoping they will score the correct winner & am willing to take that chance as I believe FM is that much superior that if he does clearly beat MP, the worst that the judges can do is give it to FM closer than it really went down. No way Im fkn with margins in a fight this big. Im confident of a FM victory If you are confident of a MP victory we can bet but if not then its absolutely pointless because Im not fkn with margins in a fight this big due to lack of trust in the judges.
That argument always fail when comparing H2H. To look good with high level of skills is not the point of boxing - or even most sport. That is just a style or a tool you can use to achieve a particular goal. Technical skill is not the be all end all predictor. The are ATGs that are technically inferior to PBF but would certainly beat him. Styles trump technical skills. So yes, you can certainly argue (and I would agree) that PBF will likely win a lot of rounds vs Pac or Oscar. But in the same token and logic, Pac can TKO PBF in ANY round. So if the fight goes to the score cards, I would say PBF wins. If it does not, Pac wins.
Well of those 3 opponents even an Aging Chavez was better than Hatton or Gatti.:yep:yep I just cant imagine any knowledgeable fan telling me any different. Chavez was definitly past his prime but a Chavez at 65% is better than Hatton or Gatti at 100%. Also remember that Delahoya beat Gatti at least as decisve as Mayweather. Although I must admit Pacs ko of Hatton was as one sided and brutal as it gets. But even an Aging Chavez was much more durable and better than Hatton.
Hoya was 10 years younger and bigger than Chaves. Floy has a speed adv and younger vs an aging slower Gatti. Hatton defence sucks overall he isn't that great. I got Pac only by a whisker.Put HUGTON to sleep for a minute.Much more spectacular and unexpected.KO of the year I believe it was. END OF
hmm. Oscar past his prime just narrowly lost to a Floyd who was only a couple years removed from Gatti . i think Oscar would have beaten Floyd. i think alot of people are misinterpreting the question as to- which of these was the best performance, in which case Floyd wins hands down. but if its which wins if these 3 fought? then i think Oscar, then Floyd, then Manny.
How is the win over Gatti more impressive than Oscars, and Mannys:huh Even the 96 version of Chavez was still better than Gatti and Oscar stopped him faster, I would also say that Hatton was better than Gatti too although that would have been a great fight. I mean im a Gatti fan like most are too. but come on Gatti had a style that would make a any of those 3 look brilliant. Like I said before Oscar beat Gatti just as convincingly as Floyd. I think the posters should just look at who had the best comp of those 3 and there is your answer.
The question here is who is the best of the three fighters, not who's win is the best. Clearly Gatti was no where elite, but Mayweather most certainly was and still is.
Hey Divac how come you dont like Oscar? I know you are from LA just wondering your reasons. Cause I know a lot of Mexicans dont like Oscar and i never agree with their reasons. Including a few in my family.
I rooted for DLH when he won the Olympic Gold Medal for his mother......a touching moment for DLH and anyone who knew about his promise to his mother to win that Gold Medal. Personally I've always rooted against Media created prima donna's......I did'nt like Ray Leonard for some of the same reasons. To be very blunt, I dont like it that fighters like Leonard and DLH are allowed by the media themselves to be manipulated even before they've even accomplished anything in the sport. Its just a long story to explain my friend........but I'll give you a taste of it......Alot of people dont remember what specifically triggered their distaste for DLH....for me it was'nt one specific thing but a variety of things that happened that just turned me off on DLH....... .....Like I said, I dont have a taste for media made Prima Donna's, and when DLH who had begun his career at 135 lbs fought throughout his early fight there, and then all of a sudden see's a chance to beat a Paper Champion Jimmy Bredahl and drops to 130 lbs for the sake of winning a bogus title. There were much better champions at the time at 130 lbs than Bredahl.......Azumah Nelson to name just one......When DLH dropped to 130 lbs to fight for that title, I knew right then and there that he was going to be just about the stats and bogus belts, and not about really making the meaningful fight at the moment. .....then my distaste just snowballed from there.....along the way DLH having fighters that were fighting a weight class or two below him to come up to face him, and then acting as if he's beaten these guys at there best and in their proper weight class......:---(.....it did'nt help that the media was hyping DLH along the way and giving more praise for each accomplishment than it was really worth........ Then came the Tito fight, and after his cowardice running from Trinidad in the ring, he does the same out of the ring when most boxing fans expected a rematch........that rematch was talked about for years and it never came...... Then after Mosley thumps him at 147 lbs, how many years did it take for that rematch to develop????? It only happened after Mosley lost some fights and DLH thought Mosley was past it...... ......and how about the **** he pulled with Fernando Vargas.....Vargas called for a DLH fight for years, and after feuding for all those years while DLH promised never to give Vargas the satisfaction of a payday.......what does DLH do when Vargas looks completely shot in his fights after the Trinidad beatdown???? Of course, when Vargas looks shot, forget that DLH promised never to give Vargas a payday, now that he's shot, I'll give him one....... I can go on and on Anarci.......the bottom line for me is that imo, I did not view DLH as a person of character.....alot of things he did through his boxing career in and out of the ring were just a turnoff to me, and it all starts with the man not having character. There are three things that I really respect..... Honesty, integrity, and character.....and at least from how I viewed it, DLH was void of all three. You asked for it, you got it my brother!
