YEy ive heard all of these, you sound like my uncle and his buddies who rag me for being a Delahoya fan:-:)lol: You know its a trip Oscar is more hated by his own race than any other:yep

Vargas was not shot:nono He waited for the right time when the fight got big and he had run out of other opponents.

Also he was pretty inexperienced when he fought Bredahl, He probably would have beaten an aging Azumah, but then again maybe not, to high of a risk for a guy with only 13 fights cant blame his team for taking that fight with Bredahl. Chicanito ended up being a bigger fight a couple years down the road versus if he would have fought him back then.
I blame everyone for the rematch not being made between Tito and OScar. Promoters OScar and TITO, do you really think Tito wanted a rematch again? Maybe for the Money but he knew OScar had his number. From what i remember Oscar wanted that fight at 147 and Tito insisted at 154. Then Tito moved up and fought Hopkins when Oscar decided to step up.
As for his matchups early on well obviously his managment and Arum were doing something right,as he has made more $$$ than any fighter. Cant blame Oscar for picking and choosing, and that is because he chose to fight the best available.
And by the way what little guys was he picking on? Chicanito is the one who wanted that fight hes taller than OScar and that was the only time he ever moved up, so its not like he was making a big jump division to division Same with the Chavez rematch. OScar was already at 147 for the second one and you cant blame him for the opprotunity to make so much money in that fight. You mention him picking on little guys but think of all the times he moved up to fight guys in their weight classes. Chavez,Molina,Whittaker,Castallejo,Vargas,Sturm,Hopkins.

I can understand you not caring for his charachter (to each his own) but to question the way his career was managed and the fighters he fought is just nit picking. NO one and imean NO ONE has fought the level of competition that OScar has in the last 25 YEars.

I think the Hoya that beat Chavez beats the other two.
I was never in awe of Floyd beating Gatti. Hoya beat Gatti and Pac would have too.
