Who is the best opponent Floyd has ever fought?

IMO, Floyd has a fine resume...

Chavez, Castillo, Corrales, Judah, Baldomir, Corley, DLH, Sosa, Gatti, Ndou are all good fighters. And I know I'm missing a few.

 

Floyd has 4 lightweight fights : Castillo twice, Sosa and NDou
3 light-welter fights: Corley, Bruseles, Gatti
3 welter fights: Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir
1 junior middle fight: De La Hoya
10 junior feather title fights: Genaro Hernandez, Manfredy, Rios, Juuko, Gerena, Goyo Vargas, Burton, Corrales, Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Chavez.

Alright, he was a good WBC Super feather Champ, but being a 5 time WBC Division Champion doesn't mean that much...

Tough to pick. Judah was dangerous as hell when they fought. Castillo obviously very strong. Corrales undefeated. De La Hoya at 154lbs and given the conditions, was a great test.

ATG is a buzz word that get thrown around this site all the time, and taken out of context ..

I mean really what ATG is currently active under the age of 35 let alone 40 ? ATG is a tag you get after your done fighting if you qualify .

And there is curently no ATG fighting from 130 to 147 at this present time.

Mosley will defiantly be a HOF but ALT great NO .. the Name Sugar is a hard name to live up to , and lets face it Shane has had some good fights , but no great fights. his losses to winky , cotto and Forrest definitely put a small dink in his legacy.

 

I chose De La Hoya, mainly because he isn't as shot as many people have claimed him to be.

All of the losses that Castillo had suffered before he faced Mayweather were stoppages due to cuts when he was still coming up in Mexico and fighting every couple of months. Castillo was the top LW when Mayweather fought him. Claiming that he was just some B-level guy who was grossly overrated just because he went to war with Chico is ****ing silly.

Considering how much you despise Mayweather AND Hatton, your agenda on this topic is pretty clear.
