I thought Castillo won the 1st fight, so did the HBO commentators.

I wish Floyd could fight @140 for legacy's sake. He would be a beast there and its pretty crowded there with talent.

This is what i have been trying to say.
From all those good guys PBf has fought. 10 years from now will anyone even remember them???
Look at Oscars resume. His resume is alot better than PBF. It doesnt matter wether he lost fights its just that he took those risks. Oscar has fought the best of his division and its hard to say he ducked anyone worth fighting.

Look at PBF resume. Look at the options for the poll.
The best name on there is Oscar De La Hoya who is semi retired and still gave him hell. Genaro Hernandez was also a good win and guess what Oscar beat him first.

Its funny to think people rank him at the top of the ATG and he is mentioned with Robinson, Ali, and Leonard.

I voted for DLH. But I might also Corrales. I mean he got whooped real bad (watched the fight again last night) but that was because style wise it was a bad matchup for him.

DLH still had more talent and skills then anyone Floyd had ever fought but he just couldn't stay active for the whole fight. Not sure if that makes him the most "best" but I would say that the DLH that lost to mayweather probably beast anyone else that mayweather fought, despite the fact that castillo gave him his hardest fight.

Hatton has to be thrown in with Chico and Castillo as the closest to a great fighter who was close to their prime when floyd fought him. But unlike Castillo he wasn't fighting in the right wieght division.

From the perspective of overall accomplishments, Oscar is easily Floyd's best opponent.

As far as greatest ability at the time of the fight, Castillo was Floyd's best, considering many people (myself included) had Castillo winning the first fight. Although Oscar did pretty good considering his age and rust. That jab was winning the fight until he stopped throwing it.

Corrales and Hatton were both top 10 p4p at the time Mayweather fought them...and DLH is an ATG.

Oscar murders every other fighter Floyd has gone up against. Hatton would be second

I don't think he meant all time just when Mayweather fought them. Castillo clearly was a better fighter then than DLH is today.

They rank him this way because they hate Oscar and they're on the bandwagon. The **** they would never forgive Oscar for they deny toward Floyd. ****, even in defeat when Oscar does get knocked out they say he took a dive.
