Wlad's size, power and his jab are what make him effective other than that he has nothing. He can't fight inside, has poor footwork and has a suspect chin.[/quote]

no way. watch his last 6 fights and tell me that. he has completely altered his footwork. he used to be completely flat-footed, plodding, and stationary. now, he bounces all the time contsantly giving his opponent movement. For example, watch Brewster I and II and tell me u dont see a difference.

the guy is 6'6'' and has tremendous hand and foot speed for his size. If his footwork is such crap, how come he hasn't been hit by a good punch in 6 fights?

his inside game is poor and his chin will never be solid but it wont matter if these guys cant land the big shot.

Cotto had issue's with even worse fighters coming up than Dawson, now he's a top P4P, because he solved most of the issue's stylistically and improved his D.

Pavlik is what he is, he cannot compare to the talent Dawson has.

    And Pavlik over Kessler?:rofl

Cotto first and slightly ahead of Pavlik. Pavlik impresses me with his win over Jermaine Taylor, and his boxing skills and fundamentals. Cotto is #1 because of the opposition he fought, and has shown improvement in several parts of his boxing. He's also got the best body punching skills in boxing today.
