So what do you actually mean? I'm pretty sure we've all seen Ray Robinson's fights. Many of us have seen footage of him in his Welterweight prime as well.

    Sam Langford.

Could easily by any of Greb, Robinson or Armstrong either though.

I,m sorry but your statement about Robinson fighting 'no names' is not worthy of a reply..ButRoy Jones had about 50 fights and was on the downside..Ray Robinson had over Two Hundred fights, againstvthe best of his times and dominated...Armjstrong, Gavilan, Tommy Bell, Bobo Olsen, Jake Lamotta, randy Turpin, Gene Fullmer,Carmine Basillio, were some of the NO NAMES...

Langford, Greb, Armstrong, Robinson have the strongest cases. I now that Boilermaker rates Fitzsimmons as number one. One, can´t remember who, had Barney Ross as number one.

:adminnot to be a smart ass but i wanna meet these people. i was under the impression that no footage existed of him in his welterweight prime

as for the thread...i'd have to say the best i ever have seen on tape is still probably robinson at middleweight. however, i have only seen minimal footage of he, armstrong, charles and pep.

based on fight i have seen extensive footage of, ali and roy jones rate at the top.
