The middleweight version of Robinson before his first retirement would beat Jones in my opinion.

common man look i understand the nostaliga people feel about older fighters i get it but lamotta turpin gavilin are nowhere near the skill level of jones i mean you have eyes right i know they were good mostly tough as nails but be honest with your self

chin lets him down a bit even with all his roids.a better or more accurate left hook than the one robinson flattened iron chinned gene fullmer with would be hard to find.impossible in fact.

the only thing Jones did better was defense and reflexs, Robinson has the greatest left hook of all time, could triple it with split second timing with more power than Jones, better footwork moved with more fluidity, more stamina, could throw eight punch combination with bone crunching power, where as Jones did a lot of shoe shining.

jones threw 15 20 punch combos 4 5 6 left hooks dropped people with double left hooks so fast you didnt even see it without slow mo and it was still hard to see but i no ray had a beast left hook and could throw it mulitple times his timing was not better than jones his accuraccy proves that were gonna have to agree to disagree on this one but it was intresting and i enjoyed it and i do love srr

I always thought that Jones's multiple left hook combinations were more for the show while Robinson's triple left hooks carried proven, legitimate knockout power in them.

wow, wow, wow, why mention Brannon when you said in your previous posts, that it's easy to look good against no names. :deal
