Amir Khan - for all his hype - is still a prospect.

He is a commonwealth Champion but in terms of World title fights and world title belts he is still only a prospect

and a shaky prospect at that!

    Agree with all that.

I'm looking for some lesser known boxers though to keep an eye on :thumbsup

    Kenny Anderson 6-0 (6 KO)

    Craig Mceawn 10-0 (6KO)

    Paul Appleby 11-0 (7 KO i think)

I was impressed with Kell Brook the other day. First time I'd seen him fight.

he looked good against a limited opponent coming in at short notice. i like brook but we'll have to see how he does when defending the title against someone proven at domestic level - hopefully mcintyre.

I give Kell a great chance against McIntyre. Good solid pro McIntyre but all he needed was basics to outbox the limited and chinny Anderson.

Counter punchers are the best fighters to watch.

All of these lads have potential. McEwen is a classy boxer with over 300 amateur bouts. Anderson is tough and determined as his commonwealth victory showed. Considering that Appleby went pro rather early he will I think improve the most and is one of boxing’s dark horses.

He did a much better job on Jones than Doherty. He was accurate with good power.
