I suspect that after the Olympics Frankie Gavin's name will be bandied about and he'll end up in about three years time getting the same stick as Amir Khan.

But aside from Gavin, I'm hoping David Price does well at the Olympics and then turns pro. Didnt he slap Tyson Fury silly in the ABAs?

I watched scottish prospect Craig McEwan last night whose trained by Freddie Roach.
He looks very decent. Looks like hes got decent power and speed, just needs his defence improved and with Roach hes got a trainer who can acheive that. Definitely one to keep an eye out for.

But right now, theres only one Amir Khan.

He did look very exciting, extremely quick hands, good jab, aggressive .
He got caught by a stupid shot though and although I don't think he was badly stunned I think the punch did get to him a little .

He has a lot going for him but we'll have to keep an eye on the chin .
There's quite a few prospects coming through at Super-Bantamweight in the UK aswell so it's a good time for him to be about .

skill wise i'd go with darren barker. but theres still question marks over his chin, and he doesnt really have the one punch power that he would need to thrive at world level. deffo at least european level talent though.

David Haye isn't a prospect, hes just an unknown quantity at HW, when you hold 3 of the 4 belts and the ring title at one weight you can no longer be called a prospect

Mo Nasir has just turned pro - an injury kept him out of the Olympic qualifiers but I feel he's better suited to the pro game anyway.

    Good prospect :good

Tyson Fury is the next Greenberg, he will not make any waves in the HW division.

Gavin will be found out at the Olympics as the Cubans will be there unlike the worlds.

I saw Mo Nasir box at amateur level and he could get some superb power in his shots with his style. With the Yemeni background and the style he will always be compared to Naz.
