Thanks. So let me get this straight - Kovalev, who was stopped in the amateurs by Atoev, does not have a bad chin, but Joshua, who was never stopped, is packing glass? Makes sense :rofl

Even Rigo has 12 losses in amateurs who's one of the greatest amateurs of all times. That's just how it is in amateur boxing, unlike pros, you can't choose to fight who and when, you can't duck anyone, if you have a long standing career spanning hundreds of fights, you will have losses and stoppages. It's only natural.

As for Joshua, he had a much shorter amateur career and he lost the final in 2011 and if the 2012 Olympics wasn't in London he would lose in Round 16 to Erislandy Savon. Although none of this shows anything but he's a top prospect.

The fact that Joshua has never been stopped does not mean that he has an iron chin. On the other hand, the fact that Kovalev has been stopped with his headgear on means that his chin is not iron.

Could it later turn out that Kovalev indeed has a better chin than Joshua? Sure. But at this point it is anyone's guess as to who possesses the superior whiskers and claiming that Joshua's chin is glass while Kovalev's isn't is pretty moronic.

    It really is that simple.

Considering Joshuas age and experience, hes going to improve a lot more than Kovalev.

So being KO'd as an inexperienced kid, doesnt really hold much water

The Heavyweight Division is very unforgiving, no matter how glass jawed an opponent most of them still pack a wallop so he could get his chin checked by a journeyman, if not that Joshua will be exposed by the first opponent who can take his power........why...because I say so.:deal

do your research. Joshua got stopped by Mihai Nistor.. he was badly hurt the video is on youtube, and he got dropped by Dillian Whyte and was hurt a few other times.
