    Calderon is the best, but Cotto gets more shine cuz Calderon is in the lower weights.

    Some people just love to boggle the mind.:huh Why couldn't you come up with an easier question? Better all around fighter would be imo Cotto. Better all around attributes would be Lopez(having power,boxing skills,and smarts).Best boxer(as the question actually asks)is Calderon. All of these guys have it going on in the sport, but for some reason I think Juan Ma is going to be the most remembered when it's all over.

    Miguel Cotto is my favourite active fighter, but I'd actually go with Calderon as 'the best'

    Miguel "f'ing" Cotto ! Are you guys nuts ...Cottos the best out of the 3..... first off JuanMa is good but he has not fought anyone !!!!! Penalosa & De Leon were not a threat....

    Calderon-Cazares 1 & 2 were good fights but thats the only fighter he's fought

    Cotto's power, speed, and boxing ability are much more exciting IMO then watching Calderon & Juanma

    Watching Cotto dig to the body is a thing of beauty that only comes around ever so often.

    as of this moment right now, im gonna have to say juanma just because of the way he's destroyed the opposition. if cotto beats clottey in an impressive fashion, then he's right back where he was before the margo loss and i absolutely consider him #1.

    I completely agree, I have a feeling that if Calderon was in a higher weight class he would get a lot more recognition. Juanma may surpass Cotto due to his personality(he'll be more popular) but I myself have to say Cotto is the more proven boxer at the moment. Juanma is getting up there though.
