Who is the best ref out there.. Domestic and all over world??

Who is the best Ref out there??? Domestically and all over the world???.... Kenny Bayliss seems to be getting the big fights in Las Vegas.. with Jay Nady not far behind him.... Domestcally I think that we are pretty blessed with what we have got?? What you lot think?? :think:think:think

 

Kenny Bayless is by far the world's leading referee.

Over here, I think we have a pretty weak bunch, all seeming to unashamedly favour the house fighter.

Perhaps they would be better if the responsibility for scoring was taken out of their hands for all fights. Title fights with three judges, other fights with one.

Some of the scores involving journeyman and gatekeeper fighters are staggering..... they always find a 10-10 round to give it to the house fighter, and it really pisses me off.

 

I agree with Bayliss but I think that some of our refs are very good and fair... give timely stoppages and seem to get the invite to Ref big fights in other countries??

 

Micky Vann for british referees in my opinion, he will stop the fight but he will let the guy have a go aswell from the fights ive seen, if you watch him referee the Graham Earl/Micheal Katsidis fight, Earls corner throw in the towel but he just examines Earl and sees hes still good to fight on and throws the towel out, and right after that Earl knocked down Katsidis, so for me Micky Vann makes good judgments as a ref.

World wide i agree with most i think Kenny Bayliss, also gives fighters a chance.

 

Looking unanimous so far and I've no reason to rock the boat on the Bayliss shout. Rarely puts a foot wrong and lets a fight flow.

Is Smoger still around? Havent seen him ref for a while.

Vann is probably the most high profile this side of the pond. Entertaining too seeing him dancing around the ring.

Does John Coyle still ref or is he doing gladiators full time now?

 

Tell that to the lad who was blatantly ripped off against Michael Maguire.

That one, and the Mo Khalid one a while back, was embarrassing.

It was to boxing what the Stuart Atwell Watford dodgy goal incident one was to football, or the Spurs Man Utd game a few years ago....

 

Bayless seems to be the man of the moment.

I don't have a good word to say about any of the British refs, especially Parris is a ****.

 

that bloke who reffed chelsea's game last week,whoever can make grown up cheating overpaid ***gots cry and moan like that should get the best ref in the world medal at any sport,top bloke:happy:happy:happy

That would be Smoger. Not sure I've seen him since though.

the best ref in the world is someone who shouldnt be noticed and let the fight flow

 

Our refs are OK (Vann has retired BTW), some people beat them up as part of their own pet conspiracy theories but they are pretty decent bunch on the whole.

 

I agree :good I think that Howard Foster and Ian John Lewis are good.
