Who is the best Super Middleweight (168 lbs) from Russia right now ? I think it's Nikita Zon and after Islam Salimov, Vladimir Shishkin. Islam Salimov and Dzhambulat Bizhamov are probably two very serious prospect that need your attention at his weight class. my top 5 will be this one : 1- Nikita Zon 2- Islam Salimov 3- Vladimir Shishkin 4- Pavel Silyagin 5- Evgeny Shvedenko
I'd say Bizhamov. He's very good. and in the semi finals of the World championships right now. (Russia's entire strong 13 man team have all medalled and got to the semi finals!) I like Silyagin too, he's a talented world level boxer but he's inconsistent with his performances. When he first turned pro he looked fantastic, but he's had some off nights.
