Beristan raised more world champions where as Roach got guys who were already established pro's. Roach is a fine trainer and was a former fighter so that counts as well. Both are good at what they do, but if I had to pick a trainer, I'm picking Beristan.

This thread has me extremely intrigued to see a Roach vs Beristain boxing tournament similar to the Mexico-Pinoy tournament we got last year.

One night of 5 roach trained fighters against five Beristain trained fighters.

Your post is filled with lunacy lol. All you have to do is find out who trained more world champions from the beginning of their careers. Taking over an already established fighters and training them is a choice by the fighter. Raising world champions in your own stable is really a good way to judge who is the better trainer. Roach is a fine trainer, but Beristan has raised more world champions. Just because you train a guy who beats the other guy doesn't make you a better trainer. Stop being a homer and judge on objectivity for once in your life...Damn!

Guys, just from reading some of your posts in the past, I just find it hard for some of you to be objective lol.

Have wondered about that. Roach has been w/some name fighters, but how many name fighters has he trained on a long term basis? This is an honest question, btw. Not tryin' to make a point.

So what if he trained his fighters on his stable eversince the beginning?
Fact is all those training they spent doe'snt change the reality that pac defeated jmm, it's absolutely negated.
Imagine if roach trained pac when he is just starting out his pro career, that would make pac a more viscious fighter than what he is today.(in the 5 years he and roach spent as partners together.)
You obviously are just hurt coz roach has superstar fighters handled, that only means they have more confidence on roach than they ever have in nacho.
And to train an already established fighter is more difficult than developing a fighter from the start, you have to take away the bad habits the fighter does inside the ring, his style, his mentality, his approach in the fight etc. That means roach job as a trainer on molding superstar fighters and polishing their weakness is harder imo than what nacho does. In nurturing a fighter from the beginning is easy as feeding a baby with neslac.
You are obvioulsy hurt because roach has earned more respect than your boy nacho! :rofl
