The question is in the title, I'd just like to discuss the invidual talents and particular greatness of both these men although we cannot evaluate Sam completely due to lacking film we can however watch film of his opponents as a measuring stick. Sam came from the cavenan era of boxing really, but to put Sam on the spot and say his outdated style would lead to him being schooled is ridiculous. Sam did the equivalent of say Henry Armstrong climbing to the ranks of heavyweight and beating someone like Sonny Liston more then ten times! He took on all time great opponents from EVERY weight class and built a reputation as a giant slayer and master boxer all the while going blind still being competitive with great heavyweights of his day. I want to discuss the difference in all there attributes H2H, power, Chin, resume, longevity ect.
I thought this was about Benitez? Oh well I’m out...gonna sift through some Markant posts till this thread comes to it senses. + at least the RJJ/Floyd thread saw the value of including Benitez to the discussion...you guys ain’t “woke” enough...call me when you are ready for serious discussion! #WarBenitez
