I think the risk is higher for Rodriguez with less reward, and the reverse is true for Hanks.

Mike Perez is a good choice, but still untested like wilder and Hanks, but as a chin man, he's your best pick.

Gerber is GARBAGE. He fought like a scared man vs an OLD, beat down Manny Pucheta.

Price.....knowing your history of chinchecking, can't believe you'd bring him into the equation.
And lastly Boystov........Rewatch the Ding fight if you can. Ding touches his chin once or twice in the fight and they were singular defensive punches of the backfoot. Both times.....Both times....the knees of Boystov buckled.

Watch as Sauerland pits him against other Suaerland contract journeyman. He'll beat em all, but those same guys will get Suaerland hypejob fights one after another.:deal

I don't think there's any risk at all for Rodriguez. Hanks aint gonna stop him, not a chance. And Rodriguez does SOOOOOO much body work, that even if Hanks took his power he'd lose on the cards.:think

I don't disagree. I've only been able to see a little of Hanks that I could find via the internet. From what I've seen he's got a good workrate and throws combinations and is in good shape. No clue whether he has a chin or not.

I didn't even see him fight Pucheta nor do I remember hearing about it. If that is actually the case, it certainly effects my opinion of him, as does the fact that he is fighting guys that are, for the most part, only marginally better than the bums Wilder fights.

I also qualified my appraisal of Price by readily admitting that he appears to have a **** Chin. What I like about him is that he's getting better and better at using his jab and footwork to keep it in his range and he hits like a freight train. If they make the Fury fight he'll probably thrash him because he's more athletic and Fury also has a Glass Jaw, but I don't expect him to protect his Chin when he steps up to real world class fighters.

As for Boytsov, his Chin is indeed questionable. He hasn't, however, been knocked down to my knowledge and he has skills and athletic gifts that I do not see in the current crop of Americans.

As an American, I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see much upside at all to this trio.

Seth Mitchell, he's like Chisora, only better... hopefully.
