@PIPO23 has wanted Manny Pacquiao to die a horrible painful death ever since Trashmero ducked Inoue and Pacquiao named Inoue as his favorite fighter.

Prime Manny might be the GOAT in my opinion. So skilled and so fun to watch. Him moving up weight classes should put him over Inoue.

Plus Mayweather avoided him for as long as he could. Tells you everything you need to know about Manny at his prime.

Myth! It was pac who turned pbf down when they were prime because of testing back in 2009. Stop telling this lie as if no one here was following boxing back then.

Pac was better not that many talented fighters at the weights inoue fights at to be better than pac. A faded donaire is his best win. It's debatable if he could even beat a prime donaire. A guy like rigo would box circles around him imo.

Pac lost to guys who literally wouldn't be in Inoue's top 10 wins. Medogen Singsurat KOd him at 112 at at the age where Inoue was already 3-0 vs Ring #1s and a 2 division champion. I agree that Pac is greater and hit his peak in higher weight classes but any division 118 or lower and Inoue would be like a 30 to 1 favorite if people were honest.

Yes he did that was a horrible loss and yes inoue would've destroyed Singsurat.

    They built different. Literally.

Inoue is skinny as a rail. Pac was born with thick skeletal structure that allowed him to extremely durable even against much bigger opponents. That's why Inoue can't go 8 weight divisions.

I half agree with your statement, but understand where you're coming from. I wouldn't say Inoue is a better fighter, he has better fundamentals. You being more familiar with both fighters, I don’t think I need to go into details of how each man fought/fights. The reason I half agree with you is because, at this point in Inoue's career, Pac has fought much better opposition. So to say Inoue is a better fighter, is a bit off the mark. You can't really make that claim until Inoue up's his level of opponent.

He struggled with a past prime Donaire, but he can KO Pac, Mayweather, Oscar, Mosley, Crawford and Spence? LOL He hasn't even fought anyone who is on this type of elite level to even assume this! Wishful thinking at best!

Inoue is good, but alot of people here are getting carried away. His competition has been nothing short of average, his best win is an over the hill Donaire. Now that isn’t his fault and he beats everyone that is available in and around his weight division. But without great competition, he simply cannot be great. He doesn’t have to dig deep to win, that’s not because he is amazing its because everybody else around him is average.

There’s a comment at the top of this thread that says that if he was a natural welterweight he would beat Floyd, Pac, Oscar, Crawford & Spence. There is nothing to base that on, other than he is impressive. So are the guys above mentioned.

Mayweather would beat him quite easily, Pacquiao is probably 60/40 70/30 in Pac’s favour and may well knock Inoue out. De La Hoya at his peak would knock him out with a left hook no doubt. Crawford loses to Inoue, but Spence probably stops him through bodywork.

Everyone needs to slow down with this guy, he’s extremely good but can only be great if he can clear out 122 and get a meaningful win or title at 126.

Will revisit and see if he can change my opinion then.

Why? Morales is one of the best and most skilled fighters ever.

You right about that plus Pac hit harder. He would have knocked Butler out way before the 11th round.

And yet he got schooled by Raheem.

Morales was a great fighter, that's undeniable but he wasn't the most versatile or adaptable fighter. He was blessed with height, reach, good power an iron chin, good fundamentals when he used them and an indomitable will to win. But what he wasn't was versatile or adaptable which is probably why they never tried to rematch Reheem.

The trilogy with Pac shows that, first fight, he had a stylistic advantage over Pac, his height meant he could jab over Pac's lead hand, when most orthodox fighters would find Pac's southpaw lead hand blocking their jab, he had the perfect foil for Pac's southpaw stance with his great right hand, that with his reach and height he could catch Pac leaping in and out unlike smaller fighters. But in the latter fights when Pac added the right hook counter and a little lateral movement he couldn't adapt or find the answers to win.

The Raheem fight against showed Morales, lack of versatility when given a fighter with a style that was problematic. Morales being a tall fighter is used to guys coming to him and with him more than happy to mix it up, never really needed much movement, so when forced to chase an opponent he looked off balance a lot of the times, the constant need to move and reset made him look very ordinary at times.

It's why I rank Morales below Pac, JMM and MAB. Those guys showed they could adapt and be versatile when needed. Pac figured out Morales eventually, showed against JMM after being out boxed for much of the first fight he could compete evenly with JMM at the worst, MAB showed he could switch later in his career and box more rather than brawl and be regarded as one of the better technical boxers in boxing and JMM of course was a master at adaptation the first Pac fight alone proves that.

Hi Pimp, Rigo would hit the deck v Inoue that I'm sure of.Inoue has time to see where he's rated, as he's still boxing.

    Struggle?

He got his eye socket broken in the second round of the fight and had double vision the rest of the way. It's boxing. It happens. A punch just has to land at the right angle and doesn't have to be the hardest one. It's why orbital bones don't break in every boxing match. Nor do jaws or noses even in absolute all out wars.

Inoue even said the punch didn't hurt him — it just broke his eye socket. The right hand in the 10th was far more savage, hurt him, and should have actually put his lights out.

With compromised vision, Inoue still outboxed Donaire 8 or 9 rounds and the 3 or 4 Donaire won came off of clean 1 or 2 eye-catching shots, not dominance.

Hardly a struggle. And Inoue was robbed of a KO win with that body shot in the 11th.
