    He's just jealous because Manny and Cotto beat better fighters than Mayweather. Especially Manny. It's not Manny's fault that he beat a fighter Mayweather ducked 2 yrs. ago and wanted no part of. Mayweather could of had the glory that Manny has now if he had fought and beat Cotto but he choose not too.

    In my opinion, bernie is not just way way waaaaayyyy off on his belief that Chico (RIP) is better than Cotto and that Cotto is just comparable with the likes of genaro hernandez and carlos hernandez. i also think he is waayyy off in his belief that 90 percent of ESB would agree with his opinion. :yep:yep

    Ive never seen a fighter get dissed after a loss like Cotto. Cotto has great boxing skills. He has fought them all. You guys are insane. its like ****in Sherdog in here.

    This ones going to be a landslide even w/o Pinoys and Boricuas

    I think they are pretty close but im going with Cotto hes just the better all around fighter As far as Ring generalship and Boxing skills Cotto has him beat. CHin even. Defense Cotto,Power Corrales by far. Resume edge to Cotto.

    saying he is just comparable to jesus chavez and carlos hernandez is like :nut:nut:-( this guy has fought and beat Shane mosley, randal bailey, Malignaggi, torres, alfonso gomes, quintana, judah, chop chop corley and joshua clottey and he is still just at the level of jesus chavez?? jesus some guys here must have very high standards and twisted eyesights :yep

    chimba - agreed. Cotto went from elite WW to a shot bum in a matter of days. Unreal. He just boxed a legit ATG in his prime. These guys are ATGs because they make the merely great look like ****. That's the criteria/ I personally feel that Cotto has the tools to (not necessarily beat, but) give Mayweather himself trouble...

    That said, I think Cotto's chin is way overrated. His durability is one of his key downfalls. He is wobbled easily and he is a massive bleeder which impairs his fight capabilities. He has miles of heart but he can't take a punch very well. He can recover pretty well, but initially, if you land on him flush, he is in a world of trouble.

    As for Cotto against the other guys well heres my opinion
    Delahoya- Way Way above Cotto this one isnt close
    Marquez - I definitly put Marquez over Cotto
    Castillo - This is pretty damn close maybe Castillo:?:huh
    Chicanito - This one is also very close,maybe a toss up here,na maybe Cotto
    Corrales - close but edge to Cotto
    Chavez - I think Chavez was underrated but id still take Cotto
    Famoso - I like Famoso but Cotto by far.

    Listen guys, it is a tendency that anyone pac has fought would either be a shot, past his prime, or overrated bum fighter in hindsight because of the way they lost. Can't let this happen to cotto now. Cotto is a very good fighter and at one time was the best welterweight in the world. at the time of his lost to pacquiao, you could argue that he is still the best or the second best depending on who you like between him and shane mosley. to call him an overrated bum and diss his accomplishments and talent is too much if your intention is to **** on Pac's resume.

    In terms of skills? Cotto. In terms of accomplishment? Chico was a lineal champ, something I don't think Cotto will accomplish as long as Pac/PBF are in his division.
