I say Chag as he is undefeated and more proven.
His actions are bigger than his mouth.

you have to say ruslan, because haye is unproven, but i like haye's chances over wlad more then ruslan's chances.

The only chances i see in Hayes favor are his speed and his right hand...otherwise he has a very suspect chin, leaves his left down way to low and his stamina is so so.....I think Ruslan in all honesty is going to be tougher than Haye for Wlad, haye in my opinion had a 2 round window of opportunity then Wlad would tear him up.

I think Chagaev would be too clever and strong for Haye. What is the reason for this overrating of Haye to begin with? He knocks out a CRUISERWEIGHT Enzo Macaroni or whatever his name is and gets decked by the very vulnerable and chinless Monte Barrett before stopping him and he's a heavyweight threat? Chagaev, regardless of his many delays, postponements, and inaction since defeating Valuev is a real heavyweight with a clever, smart boxing head on him. He's the only one to figure out how to beat, with all the mammoth physical dissadvantages, the giant Valuev. No big accomplishment? Well it proves that Chagaev is a smart, resourceful fighter at the very least. I say he soundly outpoints Haye over 12 with room to spare.

    Lol too strong for haye?
Nobody is stronger than haye, period.
He never got decked, Barret pushed him and he lost his balance.
    Chagaev would get destroyed,
    Possibly knocked out cold.

Chagaev easy. He has outstanding amateur credentials and some good wins at heavy. Neither the fight against Valuev nor Ruiz were even close despite the split decisions.

It depends how you define "better"!?!?!

    H2H I'd say it's a 50/50.
Better resume at HW is clearly Chagaev.
Better chance of beating the man (Wlad) for me is Haye.

Chageav is the more acomplished fighter in the Heavyweight division by far but Haye is more explosive and unorthodox and Haye vs Vlad brings excitement to KO or Be KO'd in a kind of Kamikasi way...I think Vlad/Chagaev is another tactical fight....I may be wrong

I think you're right here Bummy... :good

Chagaev is by far the more accomplished and legitimate HW challenger for Wlad.

Chagaev vs Haye is a toss-up fight,,, with Ruslan as the slight favorite.

BUT... I'd much rather see Wlad vs Haye for the excitement factor. AND, I give Haye a better shot at actually beating Wlad because of his speed, aggressiveness and KO power.

I think HBO might be right in passing on this one... We could be looking at another Wlad/Ibragimov here. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :tired:dead

These are both excellent assessments. :good

Chagaev is far more proven and should rank far higher, however due to styles, Haye may have a better shot at beating Wlad. But Chagaev's high skill level and iron chin always keep him in the fight. I'd pick him to outpoint/TKO Haye should they square off. I doubt Haye can knock Ruslan out, and i'm not sure if he can win a decision.
